Her Story - 碎片化叙事的终极解决方案

这也许是程序员最轻松的一次游戏开发了,再次证明游戏的本质并不是fancy的技术,也不是逼真的画面,是体验,就好像安卓手机指标全面超越iPhone,但是在用户体验上却还是iPhone略胜一筹。这款不像游戏的游戏,第一次真正做到了将侦探游戏的推理主动权交到了玩家手里,而不是牢牢把控在设计师的手里。

满分的创意表达。通过观看一段段零散的审讯记录,玩家自己在证词里面寻找关键词来过滤搜索出更多有信息量的审讯记录,玩家自己来推测整个故事的来龙去脉,寻找凶手,这款游戏的叙事真正将主动权交到了玩家手上。在整个游戏体验里,玩家真正有了推理的感觉,要去自主发散性思考判断哪些关键词可以搜索出有效信息,自己和自己较劲,到底故事是不是和你预想的一样,这种方式和传统推理游戏完全不一样,传统解谜游戏会提供有限的一些线索,然后玩家在这些线索里面找出关联,完成“推理”,更像是解谜游戏。而在这款游戏里面,玩家不再是玩家,而是一个观察者,是一个推理者,用每一个玩家自己独特的联想去推理,去理清楚整个事件背后的故事,她的故事。这种体验和电影更像,不过一千个观众有一千种观看这个游戏的方式和故事。

优秀的演员表演。这款游戏,基本没有画面上的特效,仅有的画面特效只是模拟CRT显示器的anti-glare的效果,所以营造气氛的重担就落在女演员身上了,演员的一颦一笑都会在玩家的放大镜下,所以每一份表现,每一份考究的细节都必须要值得推敲,而游戏也确实做得很不错。举个例子,在游戏的一开始的video里面,女主角介绍自己的名字Hannah,反复强调自己的名字是panlindrome,对这个名字的喜爱和执着之情溢于言表,细细一想,不免觉得有点太过,而这,恰是游戏里面众多伏笔的一只而已。

劣
不能保证给玩家剧情的完备感。当游戏进行到一定程度,玩家找出认罪的审讯记录以后游戏就算是通关了,这样单一的判断很有可能会造成玩家并没有完全了解剧情而误打误撞找到了最后的认罪审讯记录。当我打通剧情的时候,并没有搜索出来Eve和Simon是在怎样的场合下认识的,但是游戏却已经提示我通关,随后游戏提示我也许不知道Eve养母为什么要偷偷养Eve,我明明已经知道了,可能是因为没有搜索到指定的video clip,让游戏以为我没有完成那部分的剧情,也许游戏在检查玩家进度上还可以做得更严谨些,不仅仅是依赖某一段审讯记录。

这是一个真正将推理的主动权交到玩家手上的游戏,它创造了一个前所未有的叙事体验,和电影更类似,但是却有一千种观影方法。
